Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems on trucks and paving equipment
Complete preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and performance testing
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, brake, and suspension issues on heavy vehicles and machinery
Perform field service calls for breakdowns and on-site repairs as needed
Collaborate with other technicians to maintain high shop standards and minimize equipment downtime
Maintain accurate work orders and repair records using computerized maintenance systems
(Skilled Trades Ontario)
3+ years of hands-on experience with heavy trucks, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in fleet maintenance and equipment repair
Valid G Driver's License (AZ or DZ considered an asset)
Welding, fabrication, and preventive maintenance experience preferred
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
