310T Truck & Trailer Technician / Mechanic - Amazing Career Opportunity!

Working @ Always On Call Ltd.

This is a full-time permanent position. The current rotation consists of four weeks of day-shift followed by one week of afternoon-shift, followed by one week of night-shift.

The hourly rate ranges from $40 - $46 per hour

, and we pay overtime after 40 hours.

You'll be paid door to door from the time you leave your home until you arrive back home at the end of your shift. We offer bonuses, a generous group benefits package and a Group RRSP program. Your uniforms will be delivered weekly to your home, and safety boots and seasonal apparel will be provided for you.

Qualifications

310T licensed truck and coach technician

Valid driver's license

Excellent diagnostic skills

Mobile repair experience is an asset, but not required

The Position

In this role you'll never know what to expect when you get in your service truck at the start of your day. Every day is different, and the variety of customers and repairs will give you the opportunity to effectively grow and sharpen your mechanical skills. You'll be repairing trucks and trailers wherever they break down or performing maintenance for our main customers. You'll start your day from your driveway in one of our service trucks--checking in with our operations manager for your first job. You'll work independently and get paid door to door because you take the service truck home with you. So, no more unpaid drives to work, plus that's less wear and tear on your personal vehicle, and no more paying for gas to get to work.

Our 310T technicians have access to a knowledgeable team without having to worry about shop politics. Both the operations manager and the company owner are licensed technicians with lots of experience. They can help you work through any repairs that you encounter, but there will be no more clutches or complex engine wiring repairs as that is not our company's focus.
