Location: Peel Region, ON
Length of Assignment: Permanent
Salary: $40/hr + Signing Bonus Our client in Peel Region, ON is actively looking for a 310T Mechanic to join their team.Position Description:
- Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on trucks, including inspections, brake work, electrical, tire and oil changes
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics and repairs using Cummins software
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
- Performing scheduled maintenance service
- Maintain work area appearance and safety
- 310T Certification or Registered Apprentice (working toward certification)
- 2-3 years practical experience with motor coach, heavy truck and truck-trailer maintenance required
- Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (shop machines, and power tools)
- Lift heavy materials in excess of 75 lbs (i.e., trailer suspension parts, tires, drums etc.)
- A valid class "Gxe2x80x9d driver's license for the Province of Ontario
- AZ License an asset
