Job Description
Waste Connections of Canada has an immediate opening for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario
In this position, you will be working on heavy diesel garbage trucks. We do a lot of hydraulics and electrical work along with preventative maintenance and minor engine repair. Much of our fleet is still under warranty!
We are looking for a SAFETY inclined, energetic, autonomous and proactive team player capable of making a difference in his/her team and community.

- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or equivalent, strong apprentices will be considered.
- 3-4 years of experience in truck and trailer repairs
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests
- Experience with drivability, hydraulics, engines
