At Powerline Plus Ltd., we focus on three main operations, Electrical, Civil Construction and Engineering & Design. we provide quality solutions to public utilities, municipalities and developers, as well as to industrial, national and international manufacturing companies across the GTA.

Mechanics at Powerline Plus Ltd. inspect, diagnose, repair, adjust, overhaul and service mechanical and electrical components. Mechanics participate actively and maintain ongoing relations with co-workers, various Departmental Managers and the Fleet Manager.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Completion of a Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities approved apprenticeship program - 310T A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in the trade Valid 'G' Driver's License with clean driver's abstract required; Class DZ or better considered an asset Physically capable of meeting the job requirements; ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and safely climb a ladder.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnostics; faults and malfunctions Front-end components Engine repair and overhaul Diesel engine diagnostics Steering and suspension Air brake diagnostics and repair Ignition and electrical systems Automatic transmission Standard transmission AC, cooling and heating systems Drive train components Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance Welding; electrical and gas Trailer repair Excavation equipment repairs Crane and aerial devices Service calls
