Job Description

:Transdev is hiring a 310T Licenced Mechanic for our North Bay and Sudbury locationsReporting directly to the Fleet Manager and Shop Manager.

• This role will be based in our East Ferris Bus Lines location in North Bay and requires regular travel to our Voyago Sudbury location, where you will spend 50% of your time.
• You are responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance as required and all in compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Transdev Ontario\'s guidelines.
• You will utilize parts from inventory or order parts necessary through the Fleet Management software to make repairs.
• You will complete repairs in a timely manner.
• You will be servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
• You will keep work environment clean and tidy.
• You will complete required reports as directed (i.e. sign-off on driver-initiated repair logs and log books, and PM service logs by division).

Requirements:Your Profile

• You are registered with the STO as 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic
• You have ODP certification with A/C experience.
• You have experience and working knowledge of light duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline.
• You have superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies.
• You demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
• You have excellent proven customer service experience.
• You have a valid G class driving license.
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You have a clean criminal record search
