We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician/Journey-person to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. Duties

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing low voltage work. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with experienced electricians to learn best practices in the industry. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.

Experience

Previous experience or coursework related to industrial electricity is preferred but not required. Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints is a plus. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work is beneficial. A strong willingness to learn and develop skills in electrical systems is essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
