309A JOURNEYPERSON ELECTRICIAN - CASUAL RESIDENTIAL SERVICE



Position: 309A Journeyperson Electrician Location: Kingston, Ontario, Canada Employment Type: Casual (Flexible Hours) $35.58 per hour



We are seeking a reliable and skilled 309A Journeyperson Electrician for a casual position focused on residential home service in Kingston and surrounding areas. This is an ideal opportunity for a retired 309A looking to earn income on a flexible schedule.



Key Responsibilities


Perform general residential electrical service, maintenance, and repair work with some commercial work. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in residential wiring, circuits, and components. Install, replace, and upgrade electrical panels, devices, and fixtures in accordance with the CEC. Complete service calls and minor renovation work efficiently and professionally. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners. Maintain accurate records of all service and labour performed.

Schedule and Availability



This is a casual position designed for flexibility, offering work during days, evenings, and weekends. The schedule is determined based on your availability and client service demand, making it perfect for those not seeking full-time hours.



Qualifications and Requirements


Must possess a valid 309A Journeyperson Electrician Construction and Maintenance Journeyperson Licence for Ontario (please provide STO link in your application) Substantial experience in residential electrical systems and service work required. Must own basic tools of the trade. Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation to job sites across the Kingston area. Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and communication skills. Preference given to candidates seeking casual, flexible work, including retired professionals.

Compensation



$35.58 per hour, paid weekly.
