Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both low voltage and industrial electrical work, with a strong background in industrial power installation including distribution panels, breakers, power drops, conduit work. This role involves building, renovating, and maintaining electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in, commercial, or industrial settings. Work with low voltage systems including security alarms, telecommunications, and data networks. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to electrical installations. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions promptly. Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing work duties. Maintain an organized work environment and ensure tools are accounted for after use.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field. Strong knowledge of conduit work and power distribution. Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics to execute projects accurately. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects. A maintenance person background is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.00-$46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
