We are seeking a

motivated and

dedicated Apprentice Electrician (Level

2 or 3

schooling completed) to join our team. This position is ideal for an individual looking to gain experience in the

commercial electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. As an Apprentice Electrician in our

small business, you will assist in various electrical projects ranging from complete office space renos and warehouse to installing generators or transformers. This opportunity will allow you to be a well versed apprentice and offer you essential skills and techniques that larger companies wont be able to match.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks. Help with the installation of low voltage systems, including lighting, alarms, and communication systems. Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs under supervision. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Skills

Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential for understanding project specifications. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools. Basic knowledge of industrial electrician practices is a plus. Understanding of low voltage systems and their applications. Strong problem-solving skills to assist in troubleshooting electrical issues. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A commitment to learning and developing skills within the electrical trade. An understanding of qualitative vs. quantitative work.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $26.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
