EVOLVsolar is total service solar energy provider. Our main focus is on custom designed solar installations for residential, commercial and farm use. We are looking for a 2nd Year Apprentice Electrician / Solar Installer to join our team. This is an excellent career opportunity for the right individual, with outstanding growth potential. The right candidate for this position will be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to complete rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV installations. The Solar Installer will help lead a team for the installation of residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects. This person will understand that they are critical to the success and future of EVOLVsolar and as such complete each job in a timely, friendly, and most importantly safe, manner.

Start Date: ASAP

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the installation of photovoltaic systems
- Responsible for the quality and efficiency of an installation
- Responsible to uphold EVOLVsolar's reputation and professionalism while on the job
- Report to Job Foreman daily
- Troubleshoot numerous technological issues that could arise

Qualifications:
- 2nd Year Apprentice Electrician
- Extensive experience with installation tools and procedures an asset
- Ability to meet deadlines in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the work
- Ability to learn the PV training necessary
- Ability to work safely and effectively on roofs

EVOLVsolar offers a competitive compensation package to be discussed upon hiring based on experience and role offered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
