As 2nd Miller, the successful candidate will be responsible for transferring bulk loads, loading bulk flour tankers and assisting with daily operations of the mill.

Your day to day activities will include:

• Prepare and load flour tankers to ship to customers
• Transfer and blend flour based on specified recipe requirements
• Coordinate with Logistics Manager and truck drivers to organize and prepare daily outgoing orders
• Participate during heat treatment, cleaning, sifter and sieve maintenance
• Perform daily tasks, checks and monitoring according to guidelines set out by the Head Miller
• Complete required inspection reports as well as work orders for mill shut downs, monthly inspection items, corrective action reports requirements and scheduled tasks
• Work safely and effectively in a food processing environment with high standards for production quality
• Ensure good manufacturing practice, hazardous awareness critical control point and Company policies and procedures are followed
• Assist with mill audits and inspections
• Perform cleaning duties as required, shared with millers daily cleaning schedule

Wage:

• $29.99 - $30.47 per hour

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in flour milling, food production or manufacturing is an asset
• Shipping/Receiving experience is an asset
• Organization, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work continental shift rotation
• Competent communication skills, both oral and written
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
