0.286 FTE Technology Education Teacher

(Grade 8 exploratory rotation)

Temporary: Immediately - December 19, 2025, or full return of the incumbent

NOTE: This assignment may end prior to the end date, or it may be extended.

Qualifications:

BC Certification Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent Undergraduate degree with a major in Technology Education Demonstrated current knowledge of the renewed curriculum for Technology Education, including the learning outcomes and appropriate resources Previous experience teaching the above listed subjects at the secondary level preferred Previous experience using 3D printers, Cricut software and laser cutter/engraver preferred Experience with a variety of learning management systems Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills

The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,337 to $111,450, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
