ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from an Ontario College Certificate Program or an
Accredited Program with PSWEPA.
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certified.
Gentle Persuasion Approach Training
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario CPR (C) certification
2 years previous hospital PSW experience preferred
Knowledge and understanding of Mental Health Disorders.
Knowledge and skill to maintain supplies and equipment.
Ability to complete the required environmental cleaning.
Excellent communication/time management/priority setting skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of asepsis principles.
Excellent computer skills (Intranet, Microsoft Office, Care Manager)
