Full-time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant position
To provide one-on-one support in individual and Elementary classroom settings
Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
Qualifications and/or Assets:
Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant with assistive communication would be considered an asset
Experience with Students who have speech and language delays would be considered an asset
Experience with TouchChat is considered an asset
Experience supporting students and children with behavioral needs would be considered an asset
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
Background and/or Experience working with children with diverse needs
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to be flexible in assigned duties
Ability to work with numerous service providers Calm and patient approach to solving problems
Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset
Willingness to work collaboratively in an active, team-orientated learning environment
Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
