ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill and Experience)

-Graduate of two-year approved -Medical Office Assistant Program from a recognized Community college (or equivalent).

Two years experience working in a hospital emergency department or medical office High comprehension of Medical terminology required Computer/Technical skills: Demonstrated keyboarding proficiency and demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet functions. Must be able to work day, afternoon and night shifts with minimal call-in notice. Demonstrated knowledge Cerner a definite asset. Demonstrated professional telephone skills. * Satisfactory attendance.
