(NPFD) is currently accepting applications for volunteer Firefighters for the Atwood, Listowel and Monkton stations.

Application Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age Reside within the Municipality of North Perth Available to respond on an on-call basis, 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. Hold a valid Class G Driver's License and the ability to obtain a DZ license within 2 years of service. Committed to the required on-going training schedule including evening and weekends. Willing to complete all training required for NFPA 1001 Firefighter 1, Firefighter 2 and Hazmat NFPA 470 firefighting qualifications within 2 years of service. Physical and mental capacity to become a certified firefighter in the province of Ontario within 2 years of joining the NPFD. Successful candidates will be required to complete an aptitude test, physical/medical screening, Vulnerable Sector Check and provide a clean drivers abstract.
