Job Title 2024 Winter Student - Business Analyst (4 months)



What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be working with the program who is delivering Client360, the CRM Advisor Platform Program. Implement a common core banking platform across all roles in P&CB that will serve as the foundation to all other capabilities moving forward. You will be working with the team who will become the COE (Centre of Expertise) who will be responsible for the business functional processes of maintaining the application. this includes accountabilities for enhancing data migration procedures, user management and data readiness, leveraging data analytics skills for migration of information between 2 world class CRM applications. You will have an opportunity to learn and work in both MS Dynamics CRM (SCM) and Salesforce. You will work closely with both the business functional and technology members of the Client360 Platform program team as well as other partners. Learning application capabilities includes e.g. responsibility for accuracy and quality of the Business Contact information.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with our tech and business partners to understand and review the MS Dynamics and Salesforce Platform to develop, troubleshoot, enhance, and document components, as per the requirements and detailed design.
  • Work in an Agile lab environment, delivering deployments and help with future releases.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications, and coordinate design phases, while identifying, tracking, and resolving technical issues
  • Learn to understand how the design will be used in the code development process, and participate in meetings to design, troubleshoot, and execute projects.
  • Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, programs, code, and unit test plans for processes.
  • Provide help with unit testing and improve performance of single functions through performance tuning.
  • Plan design/implementation activities, ensure technical solution quality, provide third-level support for various technologies, and drive technical platform evolution and improvements.
What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

- Background in data management

- Utilizing a strong business acumen to effectively engage with technology and harness its potential for client management.

- Strong proficiency with reports, Excel (Macros & Pivot Tables), programming automation

- Willingness to learn CRM applications

- Good verbal communication skills

- Problem solving skills and strong analytical, critical, and creative thinking

- Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to solve problems, take ownership and be accountable

- Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done in a detail-oriented environment

- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure

- Ability to grasp information quickly with a high attention to detail

Nice to have:

- Experience in a project and status reporting environment and comfortable with ambiguity

- Related work experience, familiarity with a CRM (Client Relationship management) applications

- Understanding of the financial services industry and banking system
