Chemical Technologist Student
The Waste Processing Technologies Section under the Environment & Waste Technologies Branch conducts research and development on waste process chemistry and engineering science and technology. The team researches the science that underpins cost-effective solutions to the challenges in nuclear waste processing for recovery of valuable materials. The work in the section involves chemistry experiments, testing with small scale engineering setups, large scale process system testing and operation, and waste form specimen preparation and characterization in radioactive and non-radioactive lab settings.
This is an exciting opportunity for a young scientist who is interested in research on science-based clean environment technology. We look forward to working with the student hired as they grow their skills in our lab.
