The RBC Investor Services Strategy team is looking to hire a summer Strategy Analyst to join our team from May-August 2024. In this role, you will support the Strategy team to help develop, articulate and execute on RBC Investor Services\xe2\x80\x99 strategy. You will work with a team to deliver analysis to support decision-making and financial planning in the business.

What will you do?

• Contribute to financial analysis to determine strategic outcomes
• Work with a team to support the Chief Operating Officer of RBC Investor Services on ad-hoc strategic requests.
• Support the preparation of materials and presentations for senior management
• Analyze asset servicing industry themes, competitive positioning, market attractiveness, competitor profiles and performance results
• Synthesize data from internal and external sources (including industry periodicals, press releases, etc.) to help draft strategic documents
• Work closely with IS\xe2\x80\x99 partners (such as Finance, Technology & Operations and Human Resources) in support of strategic objectives

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Currently working towards an undergraduate degree in business, commerce, economics, or other relevant disciplines
• Analytical mindset and ability to learn quickly
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Professionalism and ability to manage highly confidential information

Nice-to-have

• Financial industry experience or knowledge
• Leadership experience via extra-curricular activities or other initiatives
