About you and this role - What you would do in this role

Dow is seeking New Graduate PhD scientists who are interested in a career in Research & Development at our Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta site.

The New Graduate PhD scientist will work with a cross-functional team with the high-level goal to use measurement science to address analytical challenges and to provide technical support for plant operations and optimization. The candidate will develop and implement measurement science approaches like separation science, namely gas chromatography and hyphenated techniques, to accelerate delivery on high priority projects. Lab experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications \xe2\x80\x93 Required education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed for this role (must haves).

A PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Data Science, or other science related discipline is required.

New graduates, those that expect to graduate by December 2024 and post-doctoral candidates should apply.

A minimum of a 2.700 cumulative GPA is required.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company support or sponsorship.
