Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: The position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee\'s role enables them to work at a GM facility, or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.

Be part of our fast-paced, agile team that is automating the testing for our data recording software and pipeline. You will partner with teams to develop, implement, test, and debug data recording software systems. You will also work with a diverse team of developers and test engineers to automate the testing pipeline for our data and analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute as a test engineer designing automated test plans and implementing an automated pipeline

Support testing of new and existing software, development changes, and bug fixes

Collaborate with team members in an Agile/Scrum workplace

Additional

Required Qualifications:

Pursuit of a Bachelor\'s (3rd or 4th year) or Master\'s degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering

Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week in Canada, and for 12 or 16-month term (3-4 consecutive semesters) starting September 2023

Development knowledge in Python

Experience developing test plans

Fundamental digital literacy including understanding of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
