2 yr. Limited Term Lecturer Applied Anthropology

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a full-time, two-year term, Lecturer position, specializing in Applied Anthropology, with the Department of Anthropology, College of Arts and Science. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate (and possibly graduate) courses in Socio-Cultural Anthropology. This position is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and teaching duties will be in person. The Department of Anthropology is dedicated to the principles of reconciliation, outreach, community engagement, and applied research. Socio-cultural anthropologists in the department have expertise in applied, environmental, and medical anthropology, and we are seeking a candidate who can complement this focus.

The successful candidate will have a PhD (or be near completion) in Socio-Cultural Anthropology. We are seeking candidates who have expertise in Applied Anthropology, and teaching experience at the undergraduate level, as evidenced by a teaching dossier. The ability or potential to teach graduate courses would be an asset.

Salary bands for this position for the 2023-2024 academic year are as follows:

Lecturer: $83,150 to $123,458.
