We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen team. Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety protocols. Oversee meal preparation and cooking processes, guaranteeing that all dishes meet quality standards. Assist in menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and dietary needs to create diverse offerings. Train and mentor kitchen staff on food handling practices, cooking techniques, and presentation standards. Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate catering events and special functions. Implement best practices for food safety and sanitation in compliance with health regulations. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Requirements



2 years proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and menu planning. Familiarity with dietary department operations and dietary aide responsibilities is highly desirable. Excellent knife skills and knowledge of food handling techniques are essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. A passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences and exceptional customer service.
