is searching for a full-time 1st Cook who will assist with managing a team in preparing the food services for its members and guests. The First Cook will be a dynamic, experienced person ensuring the proficient operation of the kitchen and Food and Beverage department.
Duties and Responsibilities
A working "hands on leader" of the kitchen team assisting the Head Chef in daily tasks.
Customer service, promoting professional attitude, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring the standards of the Club are upheld.
Maintain controls to minimize food and supply waste / theft
Develop recipes, food presentation techniques and presentation.
Portion control and control of margins in selling price
Skills and requirements
Will be required to work Wednesday to Sunday, day shift with some evenings
Ability to multi task, plan and assign duties
Experience of 2+ years in a similar position
