Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and energetic 1st Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is a strong line cook with leadership capability, a passion for food, and a commitment to consistency, quality, and food safety. This role plays a key part in daily kitchen operations and supporting the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and lead high-quality food preparation across assigned stations
Prepare and execute brunch service
Perform meat and fish butchery, including whole strip-loins, tenderloins, and salmon
Demonstrate strong saucier and grill station expertise
Lead and support an AM kitchen team, ensuring smooth service and prep execution
Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory management
Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality standard
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years of line cooking experience
Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
Food Safe Level 1 (or higher) required
First Aid certification is an asset
