Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle freight efficiently. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Perform basic mechanical maintenance on vehicles as needed to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and appropriate endorsements. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues. Experience in moving tanker fluid, including loading and unloading procedures. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
