Job Description
Would you like to make meaningful social connections and provide companionship to individuals with developmental, intellectual or physical disabilities?
Responsibilities:
- Providing companionship while engaging in a wide rage of fun activities in the community, supported by onsite staff including exploring the neighborhood, going for coffee or a treat, nature walks.
- Commitment is a minimum for 6 months and flexible weekly visits
- Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Effective communication and listening skills
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Mature, caring and non-judgmental attitude
- Ability to maintain and model healthy, appropriate personal boundaries
