Job Description
The Portage la Prairie School Division is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic early years teacher to join our team as a kindergarten teacher at North Memorial School, commencing December 1, 2025 or January 5, 2026 (start date flexible)
Portage la Prairie School Division is approximately a 50-minute drive down the Trans Canada Hwy West from Winnipeg and is 1,500 square kilometres in size. We have approximately 3,500 Kindergarten to Grade 12 students and provide teachers and programs to schools in 9 area Hutterite colonies.
The Portage la Prairie School Division is committed to providing excellent educational programs to help students learn and mature. The Division believes strongly in the concept of community and promotes the provision of appropriate programs to meet the varied needs of students.
We offer robust professional development, a teacher mentorship program, and a comprehensive student services program for all our schools.
Province of Manitoba Teaching Certificate required
