General Help/OffBearer.

REQUIREMENTS:

Read and understand the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Practice and encourage safe work behavior Understand the procedure of reporting all accidents and near misses Understand the safety features of the equipment, such as guards, emergency stops and start up signals Read, understand and follow the Quality System Procedures (QSP) Understand and follow the food, safety, and quality procedures Understand and perform good housekeeping practices continuously Read and understand a work order Communicate to supervisor if unable to work shift for any reason. Employees are expected to call in each day they are absent on the Mandatory Absent Line and must be in enough time to give adequate notice to find replacement coverage for affected shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

12-hour continental shifts Two weeks' day shift, two weeks' night rotation, working every other weekend, or MAD (midnights, afternoons, days). Good attendance and good colour vision.



The successful candidate is responsible to package the finished products as per customer's requirements. The General Help/OffBearer helps to manage the finished bags from the Robotics line. The overall goal is to maximize productivity by ensuring smooth production and minimal stoppage due to bags getting caught up in the production process. The General Help/OffBearer ensures the quality and quantity of the packaged finished goods, works safely at all times, keeps work area clean and assist the Machine Operator in keeping equipment running smoothly.


This permanent full-time position entails rotating continental shift work. This is an excellent opportunity offering competitive wages, shift premiums, benefits after 3 months and a pension plan.



12 hour continental shifts, 2 days on 2 days off and every other weekend. Switches from night to days every 2 weeks.
